(VOVworld)- So far, there have been no AH7N9 flu infection cases reported on human and poultry in Vietnam. At a press conference on Saturday to update information on the prevention and control of AH7N9, H5N1 and H1N1 flu in Vietnam, the Ministry of Health called on relevant Vietnamese agencies to strengthen preventive measures in face of complicated development of the epidemics in China. Over the past 3 months, Vietnam reported 3 deaths from AH1N1 flu and 2 from AH5N1. Experts say that all types of seasonal influenza can cause serious diseases. Vietnam is now producing AH5N1 vaccines and hopefully, the vaccines can be used later this year.
