Vietnam reports no new locally transmitted infections of COVID-19
(VOVWORLD) - No fresh coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Vietnam for the past 24 hours, marking 39 straight days the country has gone without locally transmitted infections, according to the Ministry of Health.
The total number of COVID-19 infections has risen to 325 and the latest cases are those who returned to Vietnam from abroad.
267 of the total 325 COVID-19 patients have recovered.
On Sunday, 161 people were certified for completing a quarantine period after returning from the US. Military Division 390 based in Bim Son district, Thanh Hoa province, handed over certificates to the returnees who have tested negative to SARS-CoV-2 twice.
