Vietnam reports only three COVID-19 cases on Monday, a two-year low

(VOVWORLD) -The Ministry of Health said on Monday that during the day, Vietnam  recorded only three new cases of COVID-19, the lowest number of daily COVID-19 cases recorded in more than two years. 

On Sunday, the first day of the Lunar New Year holiday, Vietnam recorded 11 cases of COVID-19.

Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Vietnam has recorded more than 11.5 million cases, ranking 13 out of 230 countries and territories; while with the ratio of infections per 1 million people, Vietnam ranks 117.

More than 10.6 million people recovered from COVID-19 nationwide. No death from COVID-19 has been reported for multiple weeks in Vietnam.
