Vietnam reports two more COVID-19 patients
(VOVWORLD) -From 6am to 6pm on Wednesday, Vietnam recorded two more COVID-19 patients, including one imported case and one community infection in Hai Duong.
Vietnam has to date had a total of 1,046 COVID-19 patients of whom 691 cases are domestic infections. 736 patients have been cured.
The Ministry of Health said that patient 764, a 76-year-old man in Da Nang city, whose death was announced earlier Wednesday, had tested negative for the virus three times before his death, so the Ministry does not count this case as a COVID-19 death.
Since July 25, a total of 34 COVID-19 patients have died, most of them were elderly patients with underlying health conditions.
