(VOVworld) - On Friday, Deputy Minister of National Defence, Senior Lieutenant General Truong Quang Khanh and the Russian Director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation, A.V.Fomin, co-hosted the Vietnam-Russia Intergovernmental Committee in Ho Chi Minh City.

Both sides agreed that friendship and cooperation ties between Vietnam and Russia have advanced in various fields in line with the comprehensive strategic partnership as agreed by senior leaders from both nations.

They also reached a consensus on bilateral cooperation priorities to ensure the needs and interests of each country, thus contributing to the further promotion of the time-tested friendship and sound relationship between the two armies and the two peoples in the future.
