(VOVworld) - Vietnam is gravely concerned about terrorist acts against citizens in Iraq and strongly condemns them.

Le Hai Binh, the spokesperson for Vietnam's Ministry of Foreign Affairs made the remark at a press conference on Monday while addressing Vietnam's reaction to the escalating tension in Iraq. Binh said Vietnam supports efforts by the Iraqi government and the international community to stabilize the situation in Iraq. He noted that Vietnam welcomes the Iraqi President’s nomination of the country’s new Prime Minister, hoping that a new government will be set up for national reconstruction.
