This is one of the targets of a rural tourism development program that will be carried out by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development as part of a movement on building new-style rural areas in the 2021-2025 period.

At least 70% of the owners of the rural tourism establishments will be trained in tourism managemen, according to the program.

After four years implementing the One Commune One Product programme (OCOP), Vietnam now has more than 8,800 products rated as three-star or higher.
