Vietnam targets exports of 340 billion USD in 5 years

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam wants to achieve an export growth rate of 5%  next year and reach an export turnover of 340 billion USD by 2025, says Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh.

The Minister highlighted the need to more effectively respond to trade protectionism, and the impacts of the COVID-19 epidemic on the supply chain.

Vietnam’s export turnover this year approached 540 billion USD, up 5%, despite a sharp decline in global trade and investment, tighter non-tariff barriers, and the negative effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
