Vietnam to host field training on UN peacekeeping operations for first time

(VOVWORLD) - The Defense Ministry will host the end-of-term field training under the ASEAN Defense Ministers’ Meeting Plus (ADMM+) Experts’ Working Group on Peacekeeping Operations Cycle 4 next week.

The exercise, the first of its kind in Vietnam, will be jointly organized by Vietnam and Japan from September 13 to 21, involving experts in peacekeeping operations and trainees from 18 ADMM+ countries.

It will include theoretical training, practical training, and integrated exercise with the participation of military medicine and engineering forces, and military observers.
