The first international semiconductor in Vietnam will be held by the Semiconductor Industry Association (SEMI), an organization with more than 3,000 member enterprises worldwide, and the National Innovation Center (NIC) of the Ministry of Planning and Investment.

SEMIExpo Vietnam 2024 will draw international semiconductor technology corporations and discuss ways to enhance Vietnam's position in the global semiconductor supply chain.

Vietnam semiconductors market is projected to reach more than 7 billion USD by 2028 and grow 6.69% on average from 2023 and 2028. The Vietnamese government has issued the semiconductor industry development strategy to 2030 and vision to 2050.

The event is expected to promote Vietnam’s innovation ecosystem, especially key technology fields such as artificial intelligence and semiconductors, to make the country a trusted partner of the world's leading technology corporations and innovation centers, according to the Minister.

During the two-day event, there will be an exhibition and conferences, including a discussion during which leading experts will provide Vietnamese students with a panoramic picture of the semiconductor industry and job opportunities.
