(VOVWORLD) - An APEC seminar on promoting inclusion by boosting the digital literacy and skills of women and girls in the context of Industry 4.0 took place on Friday in Quang Ninh.
The seminar was attended by 120 representatives from Vietnam, APEC, and other international organizations. At a press briefing in Hanoi on Thursday, Vietnam Foreign Ministry spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang said: “The APEC seminar is Vietnam’s initiative to push implementation of the decisions of APEC Year 2017, especially human resource development in the digital era, and APEC Year 2019’s priorities. It will make recommendations on policies to narrow digital gaps, empower women in digital fields, and implement Agenda 2030 for sustainable development.”
