Vietnam-UK Semiconductor Forum seeks to boost cooperation
(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam is committed to accompanying and creating the most favorable conditions for international businesses and organizations, including partners from the UK, to expand cooperation, research and development in Vietnam, said Vu Quoc Huy, Director of the National Innovation Center (NIC).

At the Vietnam-UK Semiconductor Forum jointly organized by on Monday in Hanoi by the National Innovation Center (NIC) and the British Embassy in Vietnam, Mr. Huy said that Vietnam is facing a key development stage, aiming for sustainable growth based on science and technology, innovation and digital transformation, in which semiconductors are identified as one of the strategic technology industries.
UK Ambassador to Vietnam Iain Frew said he believes that the two countries will concretize their strategic cooperation commitments, making the semiconductor sector a pillar in the Vietnam-UK relationship.
At the forum, businesses, institutes and schools from both sides exchanged information, sought partners and built cooperative relationships.
