Vietnam values multifaceted cooperation with the Republic of Korea

(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh on Friday said  Vietnam attaches importance to and wishes to develop cooperative ties with the Republic of Korea in all fields. Mr. Minh on Friday met with Republic of Korean Deputy Foreign Minister Lee Tae-ho, who is in Hanoi for the 8th Mekong-Korea Business Forum.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister suggested that the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs promote their role in boosting cooperation between the two countries in anticipation of the 30th anniversary of their diplomatic ties in 2022.

Mr. Lee said Vietnam is the key partner of the Republic of Korea and that the Korean government wishes to deepen bilateral relationship and cooperation, and is ready to work with Vietnam in fighting pandemic and developing economy.
