Didier, who arrived at Noi Bai international airport on a Vietnam Airlines flight from Paris at 6am on Monday, said this is his third trip to Vietnam and he and wife will spend one month exploring the beauty of Vietnam.

Da Nang city welcomed its first foreign visitors at 9.20am the same day. More than 200 Korean passengers were greeted by representatives of the municipal authorities.

“Last year, we established a new air route linking Da Nang and Osaka of Japan. We expect to open more direct flights to western Europe, India, China, South Korea and Japan,” Hoang Ngoc Thanh, Vice Director of the Da Nang tourism Promotion Center, told VOV.

Meanwhile, the first foreign passengers to HCM city landed at Tan Son Nhat international airport at 7.30am on a Vietnam Airlines flight from France.
