Specifically, September is the fourth month this year and is the second consecutive month that the number of international visitors to Vietnam reached over 1.5 million.

According to the General Statistics Office,  in the review period, arrivals by land increased the highest with 23.5% and airway 8.3%. International visitors from Asia rose 12.5%; Europe 5.3%; America 6.8%; and Africa 10.8% .

Vietnam intends to welcome 17.5 to 18 million foreign tourists this year. The remaining months of 2019 will be the peak time for international tourists to Vietnam, so the tourism industry believes that it will achieve the set target.
