The delegation comprised 16 teams (60 students) from three Hanoi secondary schools - Trung Vuong, Ngo Si Lien and Nguyen Du. All the students received prizes, including 4 gold, 9 silver, 24 bronze, and 23 consolation prizes. At the team level, 7 of the 16 teams won medals - 2 golds, 2 silvers and 3 bronzes.

ISC 2018, for students under 16 years old, pitted the Vietnamese youngsters against 45 students from Indonesia, the Philippines and Malaysia.
