Vietnam Women's Union honors international support
(VOVWORLD) - Ha Thi Nga, President of the Vietnam Women's Union, has applauded the support and trust of international friends for Vietnam’s advancement of women and gender equality over the years.

At a get-together in Hanoi on Friday, Nga informed participants about the 13th National Women's Congress and the Association's major orientations until 2027.
She said the Association has been supported by international partners and friends in its programs and initiatives, especially in dealing with unprecedented challenges caused by the 2-year COVID-19 chaos and climate change disasters.
Nga said that over the past five years international partners funded 9.1 million USD to help the Association's activities and capacity building.
She expressed her hope that the Vietnam Women's Union will continue to receive support to better protect women’s rights.
