(VOVworld) - A Vietnam-Algeria business forum was held in Algiers, Algeria, on Sunday, attracting 100 businesses.

At the event, Vietnam’s Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh introduced Vietnam’s investment policies and outlined the country’s strengths and potential in producing, processing and exporting agricultural and aquacultural products.

He said the potential will help Vietnam and Algeria strengthen their bilateral trade cooperation for mutual benefit. Deputy Minister Anh also attended working sessions with the Algerian Ministries of Foreign Affairs, and Industry and Trade to boost economic and trade partnership.
