(VOVworld) – Cambodians are grateful for Vietnam’s enormous assistance in their efforts to topple the Khmer Rouge regime and revive Cambodian Buddhism. Cambodian Minister of Cults and Religions Min Khin made this remark yesterday while receiving a delegation, led by Most Venerable Thích Trí Quảng, Deputy Head of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha’s Executive Council. Venerable Quang offered congratulations on the achievements the Cambodian Government and people have gained. He reiterated that the visit aims to promote relations between people and Buddhism of the two countries, which will contribute to ensuring peace in the region and the world alike.
