A conference of Vietnam, Lao, Cambodia youths in Ho Chi Minh City

Participants said as this year marks the 50^th anniversary of Vietnam-Cambodia diplomatic ties, the Vietnam Youth Federation has boosted communication campaigns on the two countries’ friendship and voluntary programs in Cambodia. Vietnamese universities and colleges have launched activities for Cambodian students in Vietnam. The two countries’ Youth Federations agreed to continue their cooperation, sharing experience, voluntary activities, and support for start-up and doing business. Nguyen Phi Long, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and President of the Vietnam Youth Federation, said: “We commit to increasing friendly relations. Through the activities of Vietnamese and Cambodian Youth Federations, young people from both sides meet, understand more about each other, and preserve traditional values fostered by the two Parties and States.”
