At a meeting with the Vietnamese community in Prague on Thursday, the Vice President praised their achievements and efforts to overcome difficulties in integrating into the local community. Ms Thinh said: “Czech leaders spoke highly of the Vietnamese community, whose first generation was smart, hardworking, and creative and had gained initial success in doing business and studying in the Czech Republic. They praised the second generation of the Vietnamese community here for their outstanding academic results and business achievements. They are confident in the younger Vietnamese generation”.

Ms Thinh asked the Vietnamese community to stay united,  seize opportunities, and make further efforts to raise their prestige in the resident country. She also asked them to serve as a bridge linking the two countries.
