Vietnamese dragon fruit available on Australian shelves

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese dragon fruit went on sale at Australian grocery stores last Saturday after nine years of negotiations, following lychees and mangoes.

The first batch of Vietnamese dragon fruit was exported to Australia by the Hoang Phat Company of Long An province.

Dragon fruit is one of Vietnam’s key export fruits, with export sales of almost 900 million USD last year. Dragon fruit has been exported to 40 countries and territories including China, Thailand, and Indonesia.
