On Tuesday, the Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia hosted a ceremony where Vietnamese Ambassador Vu Quang Minh reviewed Vietnam’s achievements in 2017 and hailed the overseas Vietnamese community for their contributions to Vietnam’s past struggles for independence and to Vietnam-Cambodian friendship.   

He asked overseas Vietnamese in Cambodia to overcome difficulties to stabilize their lives and help connect the two countries.

On Monday, a get-together was held at the University of West of England in the UK to welcome the 2018 Lunar New Year. The event was hosted by the Vietnamese Students’ Association of the university to inform foreign friends of Vietnam and promote the country’s beautiful images.
