Vietnamese export value rises in July

(VOVworld) – Vietnamese exports in July totaled approximately 9.6 billion USD, the General Statistics Office of Vietnam has reported.

In the first seven months of the year, export revenues were nearly 63 billion USD, up 19 percent from the same period last year. Import turnover also reached 63 billion USD, up 7.3 percent from last year. The export surplus in July was 100 million USD. The value of Vietnam's exports last month is estimated to reach almost 9.6 billion USD, a slight decrease against the previous month, while the cost of imports was 9.5 billion USD, down 29 million U.S. dollars against June. This indicates a trade surplus of 100 million USD.
