Vietnamese film festival opens in Russia
(VOVWORLD) -Vietnamese film festival opened on Friday in Moscow, screening 5 movies produced over the past 3 years.

The event, which is organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Vietnamese Embassy in Russia in coordination with their Russian partners, celebrates the 100th anniversary of the October Revolution. Addressing the opening ceremony, chief organizer Sergei Braghin said the project is part of the cultural cooperation program between Vietnam and Russia to develop bilateral relations in cinematography. The screened films include “Toi Thay Hoa Vang Tren Co Xanh” (I See Yellow Flowers upon the Green Grass), Cuoc Doi cua Yen (Yen’s Life), My Nhan (Beauty), 12 Chom Sao: Ve Duong Cho Yeu Chay (Zodiac 12: Five Steps of Love), and Em Chua 18 (Jailbait). The movies, with Russian subtitles, are shown in theatres across Russia until next Tuesday.
