(VOVworld) - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung told business representatives in a Vietnam – Thailand Business Dialogue in Bangkok on Thursday that Vietnam is actively contributed to the building of the ASEAN Economic Community: “Vietnam has taken drastic measure to boost administrative reform in tax management, customs, social insurance, construction and land use licensing, energy access and others. We aim to achieve ASEAN 6 criteria this year and ASEAN 4 next year. Many important laws have been revised and newly issued, including the laws on investment, enterprises, housing and property and the decree on public private partnership. Those reflect Vietnam’s strong commitments to improve its business environment towards international standards and trade commitments.”
Prime Minister Dung briefed Thai Legislative Council Chairman on outcomes of the recent joint cabinet meeting in the afternoon. He met Thai Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn representing Thai royal family, the Vietnamese community in Thailand and received some Thai groups investing in Vietnam. The Prime Minister left Bangkok for Hanoi to conclude his official visit to Thailand on Thursday.
