(VOVworld) - The Vietnamese Embassy in Algeria has launched a campaign to raise funds for soldiers and people in DK1 platform area and Truong Sa island district. Ambassador Do Trong Cuong highlighted the meaning of the donation and praised Vietnamese residents in Algeria who have actively taken part in charitable work. He said the campaign has raised around 127,000 Algerian dinar and more than US$1,300. The sum is small but shows their heart-felt sympathy for people back home.
