Vietnamese, Japanese Prime Ministers hold telephone conversation

(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc made a telephone call to Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Friday.

They expressed delight in the strong development of bilateral ties in all sectors, particularly high-level exchanges. They agreed to enhance cooperation among ministries and sectors and implement signed agreements to deepen the Vietnam-Japan Extensive Strategic Partnership.

The two leaders discussed regional and global issues of mutual concern. Prime Minister Abe congratulated Vietnam’s successful hosting of the APEC Economic Leaders’ Week in Da Nang in November.

Prime Minister Phuc agreed with Mr.Abe that Vietnam and Japan will work closely toward the signing of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP).
