Vietnamese lacquer paintings on display in Seoul

(VOVworld) – 42 lacquer paintings of 14 Vietnamese artists are on display in Ganaisa Art Center, Seoul from July 15 to 20, to promote this art of Vietnam to Korean and international art lovers. In addition to lacquer paintings featuring Vietnam’s landscape and people, visitors to the event also have an opportunity to watch movies introducing every step involved in the making of lacquer paintings. The exhibition is expected to inspire sense of creativity to all the artists pursuing the art of making lacquer paintings and promote cultural exchanges between the Vietnam and the Republic of Korea.
