(VOVworld) – An exhibit opened in Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province, on Tuesday to display old maps published in Western countries in the 18th and 19th century proving Vietnam’s sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos. The exhibit documents the political, economic, cultural, social, and military achievements of soldiers and civilians on Truong Sa island.

The Mekong Delta province of Hau Giang honored 119 young people on Tuesday and launched a donation program for soldiers and civilians in the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos.

The Vietnam Insurance agency encouraged its workers to donate money to those living in the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos. The agency presented 14,000 USD to the Marine Police High Command and 14,000 USD to Vietnam’s fisheries surveillance forces.
