Passenger traffic through seaports is anticipated to reach 17-19 million by 2030, including both international and domestic passengers.

The Ministry of Transport's master plan for developing the seaport system will provide a basis for investing in and operating ports in a synchronized, scalable manner. The goal is to meet import and export needs, compete globally, and support national defense and security.
