Vietnamese Students Association in Australia holds congress

(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnamese Students Association in Australia on Saturday held a congress for the 2022-2024 term to review its performance and set out plans.

The event was participated by Vietnamese Ambassador to Australia Nguyen Tat Thanh, embassy staff, and 40 outstanding students across Australia. PhD student of the University of Technology Sydney, Huynh Tan Dat was elected President of the Association in the new term.

Dat said that the Association will implement the a movement which motivates students to excel in academic performance, ethics, skills, physical strength, and integration. The Association will also promote study and culture activities to mark the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Australia, Dat added.

The Association will work with other groups from universities, state and federal government agencies in Australia to promote Vietnamese students as those who are confident, determined to pursue their dreams and contribute the their homeland.
