(VOVworld) – Vietnamese students won 6 medals at the 2015 International Mathematics Olympiad in Thailand. Vu Xuan Trung from the Thai Binh gifted high school and Nguyen The Hoan, a 12^th grader from the gifted high school under the University of Natural Science, both won a gold medal.

Vietnam finished 5^th of 106 participating teams after the US, China, the Republic of Korea and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
