Vietnamese writer awarded by Czech Writers’ Association

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese writer and translator Do Ngoc Viet Dung has been awarded the annual prize of the Czech Writers’ Association for his contributions in promoting Czech’s literature to the world.

Vietnamese writer and translator Do Ngoc Viet Dung has been awarded the annual prize of the Czech Writers’ Association for his contributions in promoting Czech’s literature to the world. Dung was the only foreign author among 5 awardees of this year’s prize. Speaking at the award ceremony on Saturday, Dung said he will soon finish his translations on the history of Czech sports and music in Czech and Vietnamese. He is also working on a collection of 500 poems and a third part of a novel about Vietnamese people living in the Czech Republic over the past decades.
