(VOVworld) – Nearly 500 students from Vietnamese student’ associations in some European countries joined the second “Festival LUMOS” which took place on 27-28 August in Choisy-le-Roi, on the outskirts of Paris.

The event, held for Vietnamese youths and students in Europe, attracted the participation of many members of Vietnamese students’ associations in Germany, the Czech Republic, Italy, the Netherlands, Finland, and France. They were divided into several teams to compete in cultural and sports activities, which were created to promote teamwork and honor young talent. The event’s highlight was the “Young European Talent” competition that took place on 27 August. “Festival LUMOS” was a large-scale event to be held the second time in Europe, following the first successful festival last year in Berlin, Germany.
