(VOVworld) – The Vietnam-France Friendship Association will uphold its achievements and experiences to organize people-to-people diplomatic activities, which was agreed by the association members at its 4^th congress for term 2012-2017 yesterday in Hanoi. Diversified exchanges of the two countries’ association members and cultural-educational activities will be carried out regularly to deepen relations in economics, trade, tourism, and information, which will contribute to economic development. The association will further its humanity and charity programs and promote the propaganda of the Vietnam-France relationship across the country, especially among Hanoi’s residents and youth. 33 members were elected to the association’s new executive board with the post of President again falling to Hero of Labor Nguyễn Tài Thu, President of the Vietnam Relief Association for Handicapped Children and the Vietnam National Association of Acupuncture.
