(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc hailed comprehensive Vietnam-Japan cooperation and said education was the the best cooperation area at a reception in Hanoi on Wednesday for Hiroshi Hase, Japanese Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.

The Vietnamese and Japanese governments are working on cooperative programs to train Vietnamese workers and PhDs in Japan. Prime Minister Phuc asked for closer links between the two nations’ universities, more ODA loans to improve Vietnam’s universities, and exchanges among students. He urged the reduplication of successful cooperative models in education and broader ties to other fields.
