(VOVworld)-  At a Thursday meeting in Hanoi with the Philippines’ Navy Command led by Vice Admiral Jose Luis M.Alano, Vietnam’s Minister of Defense Phung Quang Thanh praised the outcomes of the meeting between the two countries’ navy commands. He said that Alano’s visit aims to implement bilateral defense cooperation, share information, strengthen mutual understanding, and more importantly, contribute to boosting bilateral relations. General Thanh said that in the near future the two navies need to boost cooperation on training, information exchange, and rescue drills, and establish a hotline.
