In a document sent to the Transport Ministry on Monday, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) also proposed importing this type of aircraft into Vietnam.

According to Boeing, most of the 195 aviation authorities in the world have lifted bans on the Boeing 737 Max aircraft.

After being allowed to operate again by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), more than 360 Boeing 737 Max aircraft from 35 airlines have started operating again.

The planes were grounded around the world after two fatal crashes in 2018 and 2019 which killed 346 people.
