Themed “Emotional States”, this year’s event has drawn artists and designers from more than 40 countries and territories. Together they will explore big questions concerning sustainability, migration, pollution, and energy to help meet these global challenges.

One of three Vietnamese artists featured at the exhibition, fashion designer Thao Vu has elevated traditional fabric making to contemporary couture. Multidisciplinary designer Giang Nguyen has trawled through past decades to unearth rare patterns, fonts, and colors. Visual artist Le Thanh Tung has inserted the symbolism of yesteryear into multimedia genres.
