(VOVworld) - Tim Huxley, Executive Director of the International Institute for Strategic Studies-Asia, is on a visit to Vietnam.

Vietnam’s Deputy Defense Ministry will do the best to improve the quality of Shangri-La Dialogue 2016.

At a reception on Thursday Vietnam’s Deputy Defense Minister Nguyen Chi Vinh said he will lead a senior military delegation to the Shangri-La Dialogue 2016 and will deliver a speech there. He said Vietnam always supports other countries’ peace efforts so it will increase the number of its delegates to the Dialogue in the hope of improving its quality.

Huxley said he welcomes Defense Minister Ngo Xuan Lich and other members of the Vietnamese delegation to the Dialogue, adding that he hopes the Vietnamese delegates will help make the Dialogue a great success.
