Vietnam’s economy vigorously recovers in 2022: Industry and Trade Minister
(VOVWORLD) - Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien said Vietnam’s economy vigorously recovered with great achievements in 2022 despite a number of difficulties and challenges due to the complicated global economy.

At a conference on promoting production, domestic consumption, and expanding export markets on Friday, Mr. Dien said Vietnam’s GDP in 2022 saw the highest growth rate in the last 12 years, with a stable macro-economy and inflation under control.
Speaking at the meeting, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh asked the participants to discuss ways to develop and effectively exploit the domestic market, promote trade and supply and demand chains, expand export markets, and make full use of Free Trade Agreements, especially new-generation FTAs.
The PM asked the industry and trade sectors to boost exports in major markets and businesses to create more jobs while working out master plans on national energy and infrastructure which benefit people and enterprises.
