Vietnam’s first obstetrics clinic opens in South Sudan

(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam's Field Hospital, which performs duties at the UN Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS), has launched an obstetrics clinic in Bentiu and an action program on “working for women's health”, said the Vietnam Department for Peacekeeping Operations.

This is the first clinic built at Vietnam's Level-2 Field Hospital No.4 during the country’s  four-term deployment at UNMISS.

Lieutenant Colonel Vu Minh Duong, Director of the Field Hospital, said the program strengthens the role and position of women in regional peace process.
