VOV’s bureau in Egypt quoted an article in Economyplusme, an online economic newspaper of Egypt, as saying that Vietnam has been developing steadily and successfully.
Reporter Fayek Jarada said that in light of Vietnam’s contributions to international issues, including the Middle East peace process, he hopes Vietnam will win a non-permanent seat in the UN Security Council.
“Vietnam has made many contributions and played an important role in promoting peace and ensuring law enforcement worldwide. I believe that Vietnam will make more contributions to peace in the world in the future. I myself and the Palestinian people support Vietnam to win a non-permanent seat in the UN Security Council,” Jarada said.
Iraqi researcher Ali Hashin Shendi praised Vietnam’s achievements in its renewal process and national development. “Congratulations to Vietnam and its contributions to peace in the Middle East. Vietnam has supported the Palestinians and a two-state solution, leading to an independent Palestine. Vietnam has actively worked for peace and stability in Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and other regions throughout the world.”
