(VOVworld) - More than 180 top martial artists from around the globe entered the final round of national Vovinam Viet Vo Dao tournament competition held in the Algerian capital of Algiers on Friday.
After one day of competition, the National Security Association tops the medal tally with seven gold medals. This major national tournament is organized by the Algeria Vovinam Viet Vo Dao Federation once every five years.
The event aims to strengthen martial artists’ capacity and honour outstanding talents discover new prospects and select martial artists with high potential to participate in the Africa Martial Art International Championship scheduled for later August in Cote d’Ivoire.
