(VOVWORLD) - The Ministry of National Defence on Wednesday held a send-off ceremony for the second Level-2 Field Hospital, which will participate in the UN peacekeeping mission in South Sudan.

Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army Nguyen Tan Cuong dispatched the team and asked them to build on the experience of the first hospital and immediately take on its new mission when the first hospital is pulled out.
Deputy Minister of Defence Nguyen Chi Vinh urged hospital personnel to stay united, overcoming hardships together and completing all tasks assigned by Vietnam and the UN.
Vietnam dispatched its first level-2 hospital to the UN mission in South Sudan in October 2018.
