Vietnam’s tourism forecast to grow further

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam will have opportunities to gain a bigger share in the world's tourism market in the near future, said Nguyen Trung Khanh, Director General of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism.

Khanh said the hospitality sector is stepping up communications on Vietnam’s control of COVID-19 epidemic showing that Vietnam is a safe and reliable destination in the region. Its tourist destinations have re-opened and ready to welcome international visitors.

The tourism industry is also promoting digital marketing activities with the "Explore Vietnam at home Today, Visit Someday" campaign.

The program includes inspirational media activities through social networks, video or clip making contests, photo contests,  virtual tours, and online entertainment activities featuring Vietnamese culture.

Under the campaign, webinars were organized to update new trends in tourism development, tourism products, and potential market segments and forecast recovery scenarios of key tourism markets .
