Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Minh Vu emphasized the implications of the Dialogue, saying “This is a very important event for the Government to share economic recovery plans and thereby promote cooperation between the Government, localities and leading corporations in restoring production and business, especially in industrial parks, export processing zones and economic zones.”
Mr. Vu added, “This occasion is very important for Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to share with the global business community his aspiration for the country's development plan. He delivers messages on policies to demonstrate Vietnam’s determination and commitment to promoting the recovery of production and business.”
The Deputy Foreign Minister said the relationship between Vietnam and the World Economic Forum has thrived, especially after the 2018 World Economic Forum on ASEAN. He expressed his hope that the WEF would continue to support Vietnam in taking advantage of resources from external contracts to achieve national socio-economic development goals and create new driving forces for Vietnam's future growth.
