Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung asked Viettel to keep up its impressive progress and step up science-technology research and application to elevate the company to a leading position in the region. He also pledged optimal conditions for the company to grow and realize its assigned targets.
Viettel currently has the second largest revenue of the nearly 500,000 businesses in Vietnam with 9.38 billion USD in 2014, a 20 percent one-year increase. Viettel’s earnings accounted for more than 10 percent of all State-owned enterprises’ revenues.
