At least 9 people were killed and more than 450 others injured in clashes across Egypt to protest against President Mohamed Morsi and Muslim Brotherhood on Friday, the second anniversary of the unrest that toppled Hosni Mubarak’s regime. In Cairo tens of thousands of Egyptians took to public squares and occupied key roads, including outside of the Presidential Palace. Protesters blockaded many local authorities’ offices, asking for handing over power to a revolutionary commission.
